“What business should my kid start?”

“How do I help my kid figure out which business idea to pursue?”  These are questions that I’m often asked by parents in their efforts to encourage their kids’ entrepreneurial spirit.  My response often begins with, “It depends…”  Our guest offers great strategies to help parents guide kids toward this discovery. Julie Frieswyk is an educator, innovation enthusiastic and program manager of the Diamond Challenge, a global entrepreneurship competition for high school students.  Julie offers a peek inside their process of teaching young people how to be observant with a traveler’s mindset to recognize potential business opportunities.
