Nadya Okamoto was 15 years old when her family experienced a brief period of homelessness.

During that time, Nadya began speaking with other homeless women, and asked a simple question: “What’s most challenging about your living situation?” The response ignited within her a fervor to help homeless women deal with a common occurrence.
