Episode 2 of the Young Changemakers Series in Partnership with Ashoka’s Your Kids

When Sophia Andrews was 14 years old, she took a mission trip to Kenya and fell in love with the country and the people.  That first visit lit a spark in Sophia so much so that she has made it her life’s mission to improve the lives of kids in Kenya using the expression of dance. In this episode, Sophia and her mother Pam share her journey of becoming a changemaker.

In this episode we discuss:

  • The spark that ignited her passion for orphans in Kenya
  • How her parents released fear and allowed her to travel alone across the world to serve
  • The plans she has to expand her work in Kenya
